UnderU Party is hosted by Bounce Girlz and DiSCOATTACK, it's a monthly routine party taking place at UnderWorld. From this year, we'll invite guest DJs with us, bring you the most exciting music you can have in town. Doing this for sharing the music we like to everybody, it's hard to say what genre of club music we'll be playing, cos we don't know either!! Anyway it will be the exploration of new sounds in Taipei, the music that UNDER U!!

然後三月的Guest DJ我們很榮幸的請到去年年底才眾星雲集組成的音樂廠牌Slot Machine Records，裡面的成員大有來頭。這次會來UnderU跟我們蝦餃攪和的，除了常常被我們凹來放歌的小王子SwingChild（他現在C好像都要大寫不能寫錯內）以外還有一直在台北indie電子音樂圈默默耕耘的KbN團員之一CheeR（R要大寫....(擦汗)）aka kingfisher，然後還有這次要為我們帶來非常令人期待Live set，是以前Chill Da Dog與甘蔗年代Ganjah Age成員之一的ForTune。Slot Machine的成員都是創作型的才子啦，不信你們聽聽下面的連結，真的是很期待他們會與UnderU碰撞出什麼火花內。

Kingfisher

詳細的介紹kingfisher的音樂背景可能得花上很多時間，簡短的來說，就是KbN凱比鳥½的CheeR個人solo project。之前在Slot Machine的網站上 http://slotmachine.tw/ 已經陸續釋出一些kingfisher為其他樂團製作的混音版本歌曲，可以發現化身kingfisher後的CheeR延續KbN前衛實驗的電氣味，增量使用合成器拼貼空間，整體來說就是更加貼近/面對自身音樂品味後的呈現。

從DJ起家，歷經各大小場次的磨練，除了演出時的亮眼表現，近期更專心於創作，往全職音樂人方向邁進。發表的數首單曲獲得眾多音樂相關人士一致好評，今年也將與各位進行更進一步的有趣計畫。

ForTune

前IDM樂團 Chill Da Dog 吉他手，現任live dub樂團 Ganjah Age 改玩合成器。
2012年加入slot machine 開始了個人的solo project，音樂類型不設限 只要夠掛都ok。

從Drum'n Bass起家的Funkstar，在2008年去倫敦深造以前，就已經是台北首屈一指的DJ，在全台灣各大小club，festival叱吒風雲，還曾經連續三年被Taipei Times選為Best DJ Of The Year之一。
2010年在倫敦知名的音樂學院SAE修業完成後，Funkstar就開始在北京的夜生活圈開始打滾，成為了大陸電子音樂指標廠牌Acupuncture Records一份子，從這個時期他的曲風因為留學時代受到英國舞曲的影響，由D'n B轉為UK Garage/ UK Funky以及UK Bass。而在2012年他決定回來祖國發展，把遊歷各地的精華，回饋給台灣所有熱愛跳舞渴望吸收最新潮音樂的耳朵們。

As one of the best known homegrown talent in Taiwan’s dance music circuit, FunkStar has been smashing dance floors all over the island with his upfront mixing skill & diverse tune selection. 常常被認錯的兩位DJ，剛好都姓劉，也剛好都放reggae跟dubstep，兩兄弟將首次合體，帶來一個小時又重又爽的dubstep set，到底站在台上的是DJ Zo或是DJ @llenblow？或者其實只有DJ Zo在台上？亦或者從頭到尾都是DJ @llenblow？，這個...只能請大家來親眼看看了，可不要被自己的眼睛騙了喔。

dj_SHORTY (Useless Brotherhood)
始終堅持黑膠的dj_SHORTY，一開始立志當個drum n`bass DJ，但隨著黑膠收藏越來越多，set也越來越變化莫測，從reggae, hip hop, 實驗電子甚至到國語老歌都有，近兩年還加入了一些scratchin`，也開始嘗試混音與創作，是個充滿創意且勇於挑戰的DJ，這將是他最近幾年首次回歸純drum n`bass set，帶來的絕對是精華時期的英國鼓打貝斯之聲。

UnderU 1st Anniversary feat P.O.L. Style (Nmbrs) @Underworld 2011/11/26

UnderU一週 年了也！實在是太令人開心了，所以我們決定要在一週年來一點不一樣的。有認真觀察我們在UnderU放的歌的人，應該會不小心發現我們很愛放一個廠牌的歌，那個廠牌就是以Glasgow為base的NUMBERS（http://nmbrs.net/），不僅發行的歌首首是精選，網站還做的很美又有活力，主腦 之一還是個帥哥DJ，是一個實在很難不讓人一直follow下去的廠牌。

就像他們介紹中所寫的“Our music policy swaggers from techno to hip-hop, via 80s R&B screamers, house, UK funky, dubstep - really anything that excites us and makes a party “ Numbers一直都很致力於推廣前衛的音樂，不限曲風不管新舊，只要是對味的，他們就推。從今年開始，他們也開始在倫敦最重要的舞曲電台之一RinseFM（http://rinse.fm/）有了自己的時段（倫敦時間禮拜二晚上跟SBTRKT一個禮拜輪流一次），每次聽他們在Rinse放的set就會覺得學到很多，把一些經典的Detroit Techno, Chicago House, R&B等等融合現在剛發行的新潮舞曲，會覺得自己的眼界突然拓展了。
從Glasgow的小小Club開始辦定期活動，到後來成為專輯廠牌發行vinyl only EPs，曾經讓現在那些一線UK dance music的製作人Rustie, Bok Bok等等有了第一次曝光的機會。今年已經是他們廠牌的第七個年頭了，從Glasgow紅到舞曲重鎮倫敦，然後現在是全英國甚至整個歐洲，都迫不及待要他們到自己城市表演，很多大的舞曲音樂季像Sónar等等也都紛紛邀請他們以Numbers之名弄一個的stage，大家都想聽他們放的音樂。
Numbers最近幾張發行的EP裡面，相信有不小心聽到UnderU的人都不陌生，有時候太好聽了，我們三個會一人放一次，一天晚上rewind三次。比如說Mosca – Done Me Wrong / Bax，還有前陣子超級紅每次聽到都很想哭的Jamie xx - Far Nearer/ Beat For，當然還有UK Funky名曲 Deadboy - If U Want Me，還有很多像SBTRKT, Roska & Untold, Rusite等等等等，都有在Numbers旗下發行過單曲。
Numbers主要是由幾個厲害的Glasgow DJ在推動的，其中包括幾個月前才在FABRICLIVE出混音專輯然後還被DJ Magazine選為 “Best breakthrough DJ 2010 ” 的Jackmaster。

然後我們這次要請來就是Numbers的創廠成員之一的P.O.L. Style























P.O.L. STYLE [Numbers / Nightshifters]

P.O.L.Style在2003年時就在Glasgow一起舉辦Numbers的活動，後來他搬到日本東京去，活躍於日本DJ圈，成立了Numbers的東京分部- Numbers Tokyo，舉辦很多的event，為東京邀請過很多很棒的DJ 如Dj Funk, Modeselektor, Dre Skull, Dj Sega, Kazey, Dj Ayres。他自己的創作單曲也很多，曾被Bok Bok, Canblaster, Tittsworth, Teki Latex, Sinden等等人指名欣賞過，各在T&A, Nightshifters及ClekClekBoom等廠牌發行。然後也常常受知名blog邀請錄製mix，列如Mad Decent, Discobelle, Mishka Keep Watch series等等。
最近他正在製作很多不同人的remix的單曲，準備Numbers Tokyo的活動以及在日本的舞曲圈頻繁的演出，他放歌的技巧也很精準，從在千萬人的場合中放club banger，UK House dubs到在小小的lunge bar放hip-hop, new jack swing或 R'N'B都他都可以掌握自如。曾經與Girl Unit, DJ Sega, Bok Bok, Skream, DJ Zinc, Roska等等知名DJ同台過，被Japanzine票選為Top 10 must-see DJs。
After starting the event 'Numbers' with his friends in Glasgow in 2003, P.O.L.Style moved to Tokyo where he has been djing and producing for the past 7 years, and in 2007 he started the Numbers off-shoot – Numbers Tokyo.
Although best known for his tracks on T&A, Nightshifters and ClekClekBoom labels, P.O.L.Style's passion for music stems from his love of DJing and performing to the crowd. He's been commissioned to do mixes for Mad Decent, Discobelle, Mishka Keep Watch series and countless other blogs, and feels just as comfortable playing club bangers and UK house dubs to a crowd of thousands, as he does playing hip-hop, new jack swing and R'N'B in a small lounge somewhere. So it's no wonder that his skills have taken him far and wide to places like the USA, UK, Korea, Hong Kong and Japan.
His tracks have recieved praise from Bok Bok, Canblaster, Tittsworth, Teki Latex, Sinden and many more, and in the last year he's DJ'd B2B with Girl Unit, DJ Sega and Bok Bok, as well as performing alongside many other well known artists like Skream, DJ Zinc and Roska.
Aside from Numbers Tokyo, he also runs several of the most musically forward events in Tokyo, and can be found DJing every Saturday in-store at Mishka in Harajuku and at his monthly event, Laguna Bass at Module in Shibuya.

2009 年因為Fake Blood不來台灣，而有機會在DRTP所辦的New Blood搶救本土大作戰嶄露頭角，以四台CDJ技巧成為小小新人王。今年3月Swing Child在本土婊團Go Chic再次登場，纖細身段飄逸髮型搭配靈活手指，洩溢出的卻是兇猛流暢的電子節拍，啊啊啊!太完美了！然後最近還受邀與從法國來的Beat Torrent共同演出，真的是太厲害了！而且SwingChild是一個很上進在錄製Mixtape的優秀DJ，那我們現在就來聽一下他的Mixape 吧！ (在FaceBook可是得到許多個讚！！！)

隱身於音樂Blog DISCOATTACK的幕後Uesr，因深受BBC Radio1 Mary Anne Hobbs & Benji B的音樂影響，DISCOATTACK Blog於2009年中後轉投致力於Dubstep、Future Garage、Post-Dubstep、UK Funky等音樂類型的推廣，偶而躲在台北師大商圈裡的傳奇Live House地下社會Underworld擔任救火代班DJ，也是UnderU crew的一員，放歌時反應自身聆聽音樂的多樣性所以音樂選曲方面其實並沒有所謂的固定類隹就像Benji B（BBC Radio 1）的節目名稱一樣Exploring Future Beats，希望帶給大家多一些與英國同步的聲音。

組成於2008年地社，成員有Sonia與Veeeky，總是在邊喝酒邊腦力激盪的女子雙人組。興趣是跟貓玩，兩人加起來總共養了四隻母貓。是UnderU的核心成員。
